Ron has worked with physician practices for 26 years both in his own accounting practice as well as with iMed providing a full range of accounting, legal and practice management services. Mr. Booker assisted in the formation and maturation of Greater Houston Anesthesiology, which currently has over 300 anesthesia providers in the Houston metro area.

Stephen Jahn, JD
Vice President/General Counsel
Stephen is an employment law specialist, and has worked as a clinical counselor. Prior to joining iMed, he worked three years as the Regional Director of Human Resources for Healthcare America. Mr. Jahn managed the employment practices of two large psychiatric hospitals in the Houston area, as well as a rapidly growing MSO. He has an extensive background resolving claims involving the EEOC, Texas Workforce Commission, and OSHA. Since joining IMED in October 1996, Mr. Jahn has been active in the areas of recruitment, employment practices liability, ERISA compliance, contract negotiation, and practice development.

Shaun Stucky, CPA
Vice President of Finance
Shaun Stucky, a Certified Public Accountant, joined iMED Group in 2005. Shaun received his BBA from the University of Oklahoma in 1990. After graduation Shaun spent six years with a Big Four public accounting firm. During his time in public accounting he focused on financial services and healthcare auditing and consulting.
Prior to joining iMED Group, Shaun spent seven years in financial leadership roles with large medical specialty and multi-specialty groups. Shaun has spent the majority of his career working directly with physicians and medical administrators to ensure the continual development and refinement of industry best practices.

Micky Humphry
Vice President of Risk & Quality Management
Ms. Humphry joined i-MED in 1996 as Director of Risk & Quality Management. Prior to her years at i-MED she was Assistant Risk Manager at The Methodist Hospital for several years. Her responsibilities include the management of our off-shore captive including claims and lawsuits; the management of an in-depth quality improvement program for our largest client; insurance placement and as the liaison between the quality departments of multiple hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.

Marie Walton, CMPE
Director of Client Services
Marie has over 24 years experience in the medical billing and practice management. Prior to joining iMed in April of 2000 as Director of Operations, she had managed a surgical practice, an anesthesia billing office, a clinic in an academic environment, and held various other positions in medical offices. She has expertise in medical coding, billing, collections, office policies and procedures, as well as compliance. Mrs. Walton is responsible for client services, the operation of the appeals department, and preparation of all billing and collections data reports.

Lori Berthelot, CMC, SCP
Director of Operations
Lori has been in the healthcare industry for over 16 years, specializing in managed care contracting and reimbursement. Since joining iMed in March of 1996, she has served as Managed Care Coordinator, Special Projects Manager, Reimbursement Supervisor, and Director of Operations. Ms. Berthelot is responsible for overseeing the operations of the billing and collections office, negotiating and maintaining managed care contracts, and providing consulting services for client physicians.

Maureen Baker, RN, CCS, CPC
Director of Coding and Compliance
Maureen is a registered nurse with 28 years of experience in healthcare including 18 years in coding. Maureen established her own coding/consulting company in 1988 specializing in anesthesia, and included Greater Houston Anesthesia as one of her clients. She joined iMed as the Director of Coding and Compliance in 2005. She is a certified coder and a charter member of the Southeast Texas Chapter of the AAPC and is a past president. She is a speaker and author of articles concerning coding issues for GHA and the Anesthesia Administrators of Texas.
